Pet Value, a portfolio company of Atlanta-based Roark Capital Group, acquired specialty retailer and wholesaler Bosley’s Pet Food Plus for an undisclosed sum. Bosley’s is the leading independent pet retail chain in British Columbia, with 23 stores in and around Vancouver. The strategic acquisition provides Pet Value an opportunity for growth in western Canada as Bosley has a strong presence there already and is well-known in the holistic and organic products market.

Bosley’s represents Roark’s 16th investment in a business owned by an entrepreneur or family, its 18th franchise brand investment, and sixth acquisition in the last six months.
